Drinking beer is not permissible. Beer is an intoxicating beverage due to its alcohol content. According to the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), “The small amount of that which intoxicates in large quantities is also prohibited” (Abu Dawood, “Eshri”, 5), beer, which contains a small amount of alcohol, is considered haram. Therefore, drinking beer is prohibited in Islam.
