According to the Hanafi school of thought, the time when the sun begins to turn yellow, which is the last part of the Asr time, is considered the “disliked time” (kerahet). Performing Nafl prayers or delaying the obligatory Asr prayer until this time is regarded as “tahrimen makruh,” which means it is nearly haram (prohibited).
